Catering Manager – Secondary Education – South Birmingham – £25,000 - £28,000 per annum depending – Term time only (40 weeks)
I am currently working with an international school, just outside Birmingham City Centre who provide delicious and healthy lunches for children in Primary, Secondary and 6th form years.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and dedicated Catering Manager who’s responsible for all aspects of the management and administration of the kitchen, you will also have hands on involvement in food preparation and presentation and manage your team effectively.
The successful candidate will be responsible for approximately 500 children are provided with healthy and delicious meals in a strict timeframe.
You will be a motivated individual who can work closely with your team to ensure an excellent service is provided at all times.
Ideally you will have previous experience of successfully cooking for large numbers in a very busy Education contract. You will have a solid cheffing background and you will be up to date with current food trends. Experience within the Education sector is desirable, although a B&I background as is team building experience, financial awareness and client relations.
This is a Monday to Friday position, term time only, £25,000 - £28,000
per annum.
