An opportunity has arisen to join my client’s team, who are an independently run venue, specialising in large functions, typically weddings. My client is looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic chef to join the team in a Chef de Partie role.
Due to the location of my client’s venue, private transportation is a necessity for this position.
The Duties and Responsibilities as the Chef De Partie will be:
- Maintaining high standards in both quality of the food and the presentation of the dish.
- Ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen, by operating at a competent level in running your section.
- Preparing, cooking and presenting meals to the expected standards, providing quality and consistency.
- Monitoring of stock, orders and deliveries made to the venue.
- Adhering to Food Safety and Hygiene standards.
The ideal Chef de Partie will:
- Be passionate about Cooking.
- Be experienced in working with fresh produce.
- Be creative, enthusiastic and determined.
- Have a high level of attention to detail/
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £24,000-28,000 per annum, Overtime paid by the hour
Schedule: 35hours per week, generally Thursday to Monday
