Are you an experienced chef looking for a new opportunity to reinvigorate your career path at a newly revamped 120-seat restaurant in Upper Sapey? Lead by example, prepping and cooking delicious gastro style food for the restaurant clients, and helping to guide a team of chefs in achieving excellence.
The Main Responsibilities of the Chef would be:
- Preparation of high-qualitymeals for all our guests and clients.
- Ensuring all meals and dishes are presented exceptionally and consistently.
- Monitoring health and safety procedures in the kitchen, adhering to them andmaintaining hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
- Guide the team of chefs to always perform at the best of their capabilities.
- Help with the introduction of themed nights to build our brand.
- As well as the restaurant, we often host weddings and events that would need catering for.
The Ideal Candidate would be:
- An experienced chef, ideally with previous experience in gastro style.
- Confident in cooking both a traditional menu and Sunday carveries.
- Reliable and consistent.
- Creative, we need someone to help develop the new menu.
- Friendly and personable.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Between £26,000-28,000 per annum
Schedule: 35 hours a week, 5/7 days.
8am earliest start, 8pm latest finish.
