My client is an independent matchday pub based in Aston, catering for all their patrons across their 3 outlets being their pub, B&B and café. They are looking for a General Manager to oversee all areas and ensure a smooth service in all departments.


The duties and responsibilities of the General Manager will be:

• Managing all areas of the pub, maximising customer satisfaction.
• Collaborating with the kitchen to ensure a smooth service.
• Guiding and training the front of house staff.
• Managing the stock, deliveries and budgets.
• Adapting to different situations, and responding to them efficiently and effectively.

The ideal General Manager will:

• Have experience in a management position, ideally in a pub background.
• Have experience in cellar management
• Be honest, trustworthy and organized.
• Be able to stay calm and collected under pressure and be confident.
• Be structured, organised and reliable.

Job-type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: up to £35,000 per annum

Schedule: various shift patterns to suit the business
