Chef

Here at Pertemps Network Catering, we are currently recruiting for a Chef to work alongside our client in Sheldon, starting in September.

Hours: 7am-2.00pm  

Days: Monday- Friday

Enhanced DBS needed 

The role will involve working as a Chef for a primary school, you will play an important role cooking for 250 pupils, with well balanced and appetising meals, which will benefit their over -all well-being and academic achievement.

Chef Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook lunch for the students
• Take control of the ordering
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all safety and hygiene regulations.
• Order and manage food supplies to ensure availability of fresh and high-quality ingredients.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Adapt menus to accommodate special dietary needs and allergies.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and minimize waste.
• Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and report any issues for repair.
• Assist in maintaining inventory records and budget control.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
