Chef Manager

Here at Pertemps Network Catering, we are currently recruiting for a Chef Manager to work alongside our client in Walsall.

Hours: 7am-2.30pm  

Days: Monday- Friday

Enhanced DBS needed 

The role will involve working as a Chef Manager at an academy in Walsall, where you will need to be a strong character capable of managing a team of 8 staff. You will play an important role in providing children with well balanced and appetising meals, which will benefit their over -all well-being and academic achievement.

Chef Manager Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook lunch for the students (approx. 500 meals)
• Take control of the ordering
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all safety and hygiene regulations.
• Order and manage food supplies to ensure availability of fresh and high-quality ingredients.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Adapt menus to accommodate special dietary needs and allergies.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and minimize waste.
• Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and report any issues for repair.
• Assist in maintaining inventory records and budget control.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
